Head of Supply Chain Finance North America
Based in New Jersey, USA- 2-3 days per week

Compensation Range- 200-240K

About the Role!

The Head of Supply Chain Finance North America is an experienced finance leader who leads and supports the North American SC Finance team, which is accountable for collaborating with regional supply chain and commercial teams. He/She owns the consolidated regional cost-per-ton target and is responsible for the regional month-end close, budgeting, and forecasting processes, including VC animation, while effectively coordinating both internal and external stakeholders.

This includes business partnering with ELT members, the Regional CFO(s), supply chain leadership, and extended SC finance teams on key financial initiatives and FP&A workstreams.

Success in this role requires an influential, inquisitive, and collaborative professional who thrives in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Financial Strategy
• Providing support to Supply Chain and/or to other departments in all financial matters related to ongoing activities in EU supply chain projects, initiatives and business cases, as well as leading all finance-related improvement projects.
• Contribute to continuously enhancing business performance by challenging assumptions, identifying and driving cost reduction initiatives across the SC network, supporting decision-making, and providing relevant insights for market awareness
• Be the SCF gate keeper on Innovation projects and collaboratively work with Commercial finance teams to optimize the innovation pipeline to improve COGS and margin benefits

Business Partnering & Insights
• Owner of the consolidated NAM COGS forecast, annual budget, and month end close process within Supply Chain Finance.
• Deliver executive level presentations and written commentary to share findings including business improvement recommendations
• Business partner to NAM Supply Chain team and regional CFO/market , be the single point of contact for COGS in NAM regions
• NAM owner of Value Creation reporting and animation
• Delivering the NAM regional KPI’s together with the regional (Finance) Team
• Leading, coaching and supporting the NAM finance team and the dotted lines to other regional and global finance teams

Business Partnering & Controlling
• Owner of NAM Logistics Finance team
• Owner of NAM total SC Finance team
• Owner of NAM SC Overhead, Logistics and Business Waste reporting
• Support and /or lead the Supply chain Finance team with preparation of documentation and cooperation with auditors in all areas falling within the scope of responsibilities, including internal and external audit

About you!
• University degree in accounting, finance, business or equivalent
• CIMA / ACCA would be a strong asset
• 15+ years of controlling experience as well as in business partnering roles (interacting with business partners in supply chain and finance)
• Excellent communication skills and ability to cooperate cross-functionally
• Very strong work ethic, resilience in the face of pressure, good team player, ability to meet multiple stretching deadlines
• Excellent analytical, reporting writing and communication skills with ability to respond under pressure
• Fluent English
• MS-Office proficiency (excel advanced), SAP/BPC
