Job Summary/Basic Function

The Jennings A. Jones College of Business, Department of Management
at Middle Tennessee State University invites applicants for a
full-time, tenure-track faculty positions (#111200) in Supply Chain
Management at the rank of assistant or associate professor. The
start date for the position is August 1, 2025.

The successful candidates will be expected to teach undergraduate
and graduate courses and conduct research in the following areas of
supply chain management: distribution center operations,
purchasing, logistics planning, inventory management, and supply
chain analytics and information.

Required Education

A terminal degree in supply chain management or a closely related
field is required by the appointment date.

Other Desirables

Applicants with the following will receive special
consideration:
• University-level teaching experience
• Well-developed research agenda with the promise of publishing
in high-quality, peer-reviewed supply chain journals
• Professional work experience in supply chain management
• Ability to effectively build and maintain partnerships with
industry
