Job Description
Job is currently located in Boston, MA with preference for local candidates. May require minimal travel to / from Cincinnati.
• Gather local market intelligence from market, and gather input from RBU category on future initiatives
• Influence and maintain Key Forecast Changes (KFC’s) and Risks & Opps for the COT (Customer Operations Team) and related RBU(s)
• Provide consulting to Customer Ops Team (COT) on customer events and influence COT team members to optimize marketing plans
• Use detailed knowledge of market characteristics and experience of previous marketing events to optimize updates to forecast
• Maintain Key Forecast Changes (KFCs) for own Market/Category combinations
• Manage flow of forecast-relevant event and initiative information to PSC demand planner
• Validate final forecast for own Market/Category
• Represent demand planning in COT-level BOP processes
• Represent the supply chain expertise within Business Team to guarantee product availability to the trade in each shipment point
• Ensure robust supply planning and daily management processes to deliver service levels > 98.5%
• Ensure excellence in execution and on time delivery of all approved initiatives through a disciplined Initiative Management Process.
• Deliver the approved level of NPI (Non-Productive Inventory) and Scrap process
• Increase organizational capability through coaching and strategic development within organization.
Overall – Responsible for end-to-end execution of business processes within Organization Units, Functions, Markets, etc. Responsible for process communication, deployment, and continual improvements. Provides direction and coaching to employees/leaders, as well as ensuring deadlines are met. Provides summary of outcomes, and after action review.
Job Qualifications
Demand Planning & SIP Basic qualifications preferred but not mandatory. You will be working both within and outside SAP in this role for planning purposes. Must be comfortable with Excel, PowerBI, and data management.
1. Develop deep knowledge of market characteristics by understanding economic, social, political and demographic drivers.
2. Maintain intimate knowledge of customization and marketing event execution plans through constant dialogue with customer and COT teams.
3. Gather market-specific forecast information (‘market intelligence’) from CBD Customer Teams, COT team, MS&P, Local Marketing
4. Gather information on future initiatives for own market from local market initiative planner
5. Validate multifunctional forecast inputs for reasonability based on experience and market drivers, and influence input to deliver optimal plans.
6. Translate market intelligence received into clear, specific value-added changes to GDF forecast, and communicate changes to PSC planner
7. Collaborate with PSC demand planner on:
• weekly demand control
• phase-in/phase-out plans in market
• proposed changes to forecast
8. Regularly educate PSC demand planner on characteristics of the market affecting the forecast, and current local business climate, to sustain business knowledge in PSC planner
9. Maintain quality and consistency of Key Forecast Changes (KFCs) and R&O’s 10. Prepare DP part of BOP meeting documentation and Represent DP in COT-level BOP meetings.
11. Represent market to PSC for own forecasted category
12. Represent market for local SNO and capability programs delegated by COT BOP leader according to availability
13. Analytical skills and ability to interact and influence other functions and higher levels.
14. Ability to communicate well (verbally & written)
15. Computer Literate and detail orientated, comfortable with unformatted data and spreadsheet manipulation
16. Previous planning experience preferred

Starting Pay / Salary Range
USA Salary Range:$77,900.00 – $111,300.00 / year
(Please note, Salary Range/Starting Pay is only applicable to US and Canada-based roles.)
