Role: Supply Chain Manager
Report to: Managing Director for Rubi Tools USA.
Direct reports: Planning, Logistic, Warehouse
Job Summary – Mission
Manage and optimize the entire supply chain, from product acquisition to customer delivery. This role involves coordinating all supply chain activities, including planning, sourcing, logistics, and distribution, with the goal of improving efficiency and reducing costs through inventory management, process improvement, and collaboration with business partners.
Responsibilities and Main Functions
Logistics and Warehousing: Coordinate the products reception, storage, and distribution, ensuring efficient handling and timely shipping to customers.
Logistic & Transportation Management: Analyze, plan, and define, with the logistics team, the transport distribution, local and import transport in collaboration with HQ (suppliers, prices, unified calendars, etc)
Planning and Forecasting: Analyze demand and collaborate with commercial forecasts definition to ensure resources are aligned with market needs.
Inventory Management: Establish and maintain inventory and safety stock policies, continuously monitoring to prevent stockouts. Ensure the warehouse is well-organized to facilitate the alignment of physical stock with system records and diligently follow up on out-of-stock items.
Process Optimization: Develop and implement continuous improvement strategies by identifying areas for enhancement and applying innovative solutions to optimize efficiency and reduce costs in supply chain and storage processes.
KPIs: Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to improve efficiency and reduce costs across the supply chain. (Planning )

Budget: Define, follow, and control the Planning Department’s budget.
Team Leadership: Ensure effective interdepartmental communication and foster a cooperative team culture. (Internally between branch departments, Plant & HQ)
Team Management: Identify the team’s training and development needs, including SMART goal setting, performance evaluation, KPI definition, and competencies assessment. Collaborate closely with team leaders to support them in managing their teams.
