Astaras currently has between 40 – 50 employees and is located in Largo, FL.
Job Summary
The Supply Chain Coordinator will report to the Director of Ops. The Supply Chain coordinator will manage the transportation and storage of goods between the manufacturer and the customer and assist in any or all of the facets of Supply Chain including but not limited to: support product development, monitor inventory, supervise transportation and storage, and oversee other day-to-day supply chain.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Coordinate all supply chain and logistic activities for domestic and international operations
• Manage logistics of material flow for all materials and packaging
• Overseeing inventory related processes within the ERP system (MS Business Central) as well as the corporate Supply Chain system (ADD*ONE)
• Ensuring compliance with international transportation regulations
• Establishing and Tracking Supply Chain KPIs
• Improve supply chain processes, identifying any “pain points” or opportunities for continuous improvement
• Develop relationships with our international factories and manage cost-saving initiatives and product updates that will improve our current operations
• Other tasks as assigned
Requirements
• Associates Degree in Logistics/Supply Chain or Business or related field, OR equivalent
• 2 – 3 years of experience in Supply Chain or related functions
• Basic knowledge of international business elements, including importing, exporting, trade agreements, and customs regulations and documentation
• Proficient in MSOffice skills: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
• Knowledge of ERP systems and related technologies
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with management and staff with the ability to clearly communicate issues to all levels of management
• Ability to effectively communicate across cultures and continents
• Team player and can collaborate with other teams in the organization
