About the position
As a Supply Chain Planner at dsm-firmenich in Germantown, WI, your primary responsibility will be to match demand and supply by managing the Sales & Operations process for defined product groups using a holistic view. This role involves short and mid-term supply and inventory planning to achieve the agreed service levels locally and throughout the global supply network. You will be expected to manage interactions and continuously align with demand planning and production sites, including tollers, to ensure that demand, inventory, supply, and capacity are aligned on both short and mid-term horizons. This includes incorporating key material and capacity constraints into your plans. You will provide input to Sales & Operations meetings with various ‘what if’ scenarios to the proposed plan and simulate the effects of different alternatives. Ensuring timely delivery and consolidation of accurate supply planning data is crucial, as is presenting recommendations for the Sales and Operations Planning meeting. You will also communicate the supply network-related aspects of the agreed S&OP plan to stakeholders efficiently and in a timely manner. In this role, you will define, implement, and control a set of indicators to systematically monitor supply and capacity performance in the underlying manufacturing and tolling network. Identifying and leading key actions to enhance the supply planning processes and ensuring global consistency of planning data will be part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will support supply chain projects, including integration projects, improvement initiatives in supply planning, MRP, master data, and Phase in/out transition plans. This position embraces a Hybrid Working model, offering the flexibility of both office and remote work, transitioning from full on-site to a mix of on-site and remote work as you acclimate to the role.

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Supply Chain Management.

• Minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience in a similar position.

• Proficient with various software programs, preferably ERP SAP and OMP.

• APICS Supply Chain Certification is a plus.

• Ability to connect, understand best practices, and challenge the status quo.
