Assist Northrop Grumman as a Supply Chain Planning Intern to develop material strategies and support global security initiatives.
Your Role:
Key responsibilities are as follows:
• Define and develop material strategies within the Weapons Systems Division.
• Assess supply resources and prioritize demand requirements.
• Plan inventory, distribution, production, and capacity for products.
• Participate in make/buy processes and long-term capacity planning.
• Analyze supply/demand requirements using MRP tools.
• Plan inventory levels based on BOM requirements.
• Assess rough-cut capacity for manufacturing needs.
• Interface with the Source process area regarding inventory and working capital.
• Create and release requisitions for non-standard parts.
• Analyze lead times and identify critical path procurements.
About You:
The ideal candidate will:
• Be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate or graduate program in Supply Chain Management or Business Management.
• Be available for a full-time internship (40 hours/week) during summer 2025.
• Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship required).
• Have a cumulative GPA of 3.00/4.0 or higher.
Compensation & Benefits:
Intern pay ranges from $22.50 to $27.50 per hour for bachelor’s students and $33.00 to $34.75 per hour for master’s students. Salary is determined by factors such as graduation date, location, and internship type. Enjoy benefits like work-life balance, education assistance, and paid time off.
