Prior purchasing experience 5+ years of procurement team supervisory experience is a must. Other experience that would be ideal includes: supply chain management, supplier risk management, cost negotiations, and program launch experience. Responsibilities
The Purchasing Supervisor directs and coordinates activities of purchasing and part supply personnel engaged in procurement and distribution of equipment supplies
They also manage a staff of buyers, oversee purchasing activities across multiple program channels, ensure timely supplier shipments are met, and provide cross functional leadership across Program Management/Engineering/Quality.
