Job Title: Supply Planner
Job Description
The Supply Planner is responsible for overseeing supply chain activities to ensure timely product delivery and optimal inventory levels. This role includes demand forecasting, supply trend analysis, and coordination with various departments to maintain efficient supply chain operations.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain demand forecasts to support production and inventory planning.
• Analyze inventory levels, sales trends, and market conditions to optimize stock levels.
• Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure timely procurement of materials.
• Monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
• Coordinate with logistics teams to plan and execute transportation and distribution strategies.
• Create and maintain supply planning documentation, including reports and inventory records.
• Participate in cross-functional meetings to support overall supply chain initiatives.
• Respond to supply and demand inquiries and resolve issues related to inventory and shipments.
Essential Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience as a Supply Planner or in a similar role within supply chain management.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in supply chain planning software and Excel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
• Experience with ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Knowledge of inventory management techniques and methodologies.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment
This role operates in an office environment. The individual will work a hybrid schedule. The work hours are Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. The dress code is business casual.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 – $43.00/hr.
