**Title:** Demand Planning Manager

**Position Summary:**
Responsible for leading the demand planning function to ensure accurate and efficient forecasting of customer demand, supporting inventory, production, and sales objectives. This role requires analytical expertise, cross-functional collaboration, and strategic thinking to drive optimal supply chain performance and enhance customer satisfaction.
**Essential Functions:**
– Create and maintain accurate demand forecasts
– Analyze historical data and market trends
– Lead demand planning within the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) framework
– Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain teams
– Monitor forecast performance and metrics
– Provide actionable insights and recommendations
– Develop and distribute demand planning reports
– Refine demand planning processes and implement best practices
– Train and mentor team members
– Ensure alignment between demand forecasts and inventory or production plans
– Communicate effectively with senior management
– Manage demand planning systems and tools, including software upgrades
– Commit to the Company’s safety and quality programs
**Requirements:**
– Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Analytics, Data Science, or related field
– At least 7 years of experience in demand planning or related areas
– 2+ years in a leadership role
– Previous experience with demand planning tools
– Advanced skills in Excel, data visualization tools, and statistical forecasting methods
– APICS Certification or equivalent preferred
**Physical Requirements:**
– Standard office equipment usage
– Computer usage for extended periods
– Minimal physical activity, occasional lifting up to 50 lbs
