**Job Description:**
Fleetwood, a leading manufacturer of RVs under various brands, is seeking a Supply Chain Director to provide assurance of supply and strategic direction setting within the assigned business unit. This role involves driving material planning, inventory control, and production scheduling to develop a world-class supply chain organization.
**Key Responsibilities:**
– Owns master scheduling, material processing, supplier quality, warehousing, inventory accuracy, and logistics
– Ensures compliance and safety for warehousing and material handling
– Manages supply base delivery performance and supplier quality
– Collaborates with strategic sourcing and procurement for supplier development and cost-saving objectives
– Develops and tracks supplier development activities
– Facilitates Sales and Operations planning cycle for optimizing inventory levels
– Implements LEAN principles for process improvement
– Directs cost reduction efforts and budget monitoring
– Establishes and maintains inventory strategy for meeting production requirements
– Drives continuous improvement activities and supports Lean Six Sigma initiatives
**Candidate Profile:**
– BS degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or Engineering (MBA or MS preferred)
– 10+ years of experience in Distribution or Supply Chain Management in a Lean Manufacturing environment
– 5+ years of management experience
– Proficiency in MRP/ERP systems such as JDE, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365
– Strong leadership impact and relationship-building skills
– Experience in leading large-scale change processes
– Proven track record in developing high-trust relationships
– Automotive, heavy industrial, or manufacturing industry experience preferred
