**Job Description:**
The Supply Chain Director at Fleetwood is responsible for ensuring a seamless supply chain process and setting strategic direction within the assigned business unit. This role involves overseeing material planning, inventory control, production scheduling, and developing a high-performing supply base. Key responsibilities include:
– Owning master scheduling, material processing, supplier quality, warehousing, inventory accuracy, and logistics
– Ensuring compliance and safety in warehousing and material handling
– Managing supply base delivery performance and supplier quality
– Collaborating with strategic sourcing and procurement for supplier development and cost-saving objectives
– Implementing LEAN principles and continuous improvement initiatives
– Developing and maintaining inventory strategies to meet production requirements and cost improvement goals
**Candidate Profile:**
The ideal candidate should possess:
– Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or Engineering (MBA or MS in Supply Chain Management preferred)
– Minimum 10 years of experience in Distribution or Supply Chain Management, preferably in a Lean Manufacturing environment
– Strong leadership skills and experience in leading large-scale change processes
– Proficiency in MRP/ERP systems like JDE, SAP, or Microsoft Dynamics 365
– Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
**Preferred Qualifications:**
– CPM/APICS CPIM certification
– Ability to adapt to different leadership styles and effectively drive change
– Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
