**Job Description:**
The Indirect Category Manager within Harsco’s Clean Earth Division is responsible for managing assigned categories and vendors efficiently. Key responsibilities include developing category strategies, overseeing vendor relationships, leading negotiations, and optimizing supplier spending. This role plays a crucial part in achieving financial and operational targets.
**Primary Responsibilities:**
– Develop and execute category strategies aligned with company goals
– Assist in procurement planning to meet financial objectives
– Manage commercial contracts and vendor relationships
– Lead RFPs, RFQs, and negotiation processes
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify value creation opportunities
– Optimize vendor performance and drive cost-saving initiatives
– Mentor junior team members and support procurement activities
**Qualifications:**
– Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
– 5+ years of procurement experience, with 3+ years in indirect categories
– Strong business acumen and leadership skills
– Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
– Proficiency in financial analysis and budget management
– Familiarity with ERP systems and project management
– Willingness to travel up to 25%

– MBA or equivalent
