**Position:** Senior Buyer Planner

**Key Responsibilities:**
– Evaluate all aspects of the supply chain and collaborate with suppliers and internal team members to develop solutions.
– Manage relationships with other departments and participate in cross-functional teams to improve purchasing policies.
– Monitor organizational performance and facilitate efforts to improve KPI results.
– Represent the Supply Chain Director in their absence.
– Develop and execute purchasing plans to meet quality, service, inventory, and cost goals.
– Conduct negotiations with suppliers to obtain maximum value and establish long-term contracts.
– Evaluate supply chain aspects and develop solutions using problem-solving methodologies.
– Implement projects to standardize efforts, improve processes, and reduce costs.
**Qualifications & Skills:**
– Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience required.
– Certified Project Management certification preferred.
– Seven years of supply chain experience with progressive supervisory responsibility required.
– Understanding of FDA quality requirements and “make or buy” decisions.
– Proficiency in contracts, negotiations, issue management, and internal/external relationships.
